These two-part cups are used for encapsulating pinned coupons in acrylic resin and create mounts that fit into the 5-36PCB10 sample holder. The lower base is available in three (3) depths for different coupon sizes and produces a rounded profile to maximize grinding and polishing efficiency. The upper rubber mold is available in two (2) different polymers for compatibility with specific acrylic resins - black for QuickCure and red for QuickSet.
